– What is the necessity of a perpetual disciplic succession?
– No book is without errors. God’s revelation is Absolute Truth, but it is rarely received and preserved in its original purity. Truth that has been revealed is absolute, but over the course of time, it becomes tainted by the nature of the receivers, and from age to age, it is transformed by the continual change of hands. New revelations, therefore, are continuously necessary to keep Truth in its original purity. (Sri Manah-siksa Verse 2)

– The process of accepting a sampradaya is extremely beneficial for the living entity. If one takes shelter of a sat-sampradaya, one can easily take shelter of the lotus feet of a sadhu, learn religious principles, discuss spiritual topics, and gradually become detached from worldly affairs.

The original prajapatis, or progenitors, are all Vaishnavas. Sri Narada Goswami, who was born from the mind of Brahma, is also a Vaishnava.
