– When did the philosophy of opposing the system of sampradaya start?

– By discussing the history, we understand that there was never any opinion against the system of sampradaya in the holy land of India. Only since India came in contact with scholars from Western countries have some people become opposed to the system of sampradaya. (Sajjana-toshani 4/4)

– Are there more faults or more good qualities in the system of sampradaya?

– If one considers the system of sampradaya, naturally one will find that there are more good qualities than faults. If the major portion of an object is good, even though there are some bad elements, learned people eagerly accept it. (Sajjana-toshani 4/4)

– Do those outside the sampradaya belong to their own concocted sampradaya?

– Persons who present opinions opposed to the system of the authorized sampradaya consider themselves outsiders. Actually, using their concocted theory, they create a new sampradaya. (Sajjana-toshani 4/4)

Natural Brotherhood (Bhaktivinoda Thakura):

BhaktiVinoda Thakura

"Gradually, when the offensive portions of the established religions are destroyed, there will be no more differences in the bhajana performed by the various Sampradayas nor any quarrel between them.

Then as brothers, the people of all castes and countries will spontaneously chant the Holy Names of the Supreme Lord together.

At that time, no one will hate anyone or consider others dogeaters; nor will anyone be overwhelmed by the pride of high birth.

The living entities will not forget the principle of natural brotherhood."
