– In which books are the teachings of Sriman Mahaprabhu available? Why should Sri Caitanya-caritamrta be accepted in all respects?

– The Goswamis have composed many books. Although the teachings of Mahaprabhu are found in them, there is nothing mentioned about Mahaprabhu’s own writing.

Sri Caitanya-caritamrta is an authentic book. It is fully enriched with the characteristics and instructions of the Lord. These instructions of the Lord are fully confirmed by the statements of the Goswamis. Sri Caitanya-caritamrta is therefore found to be the most respected book.

Just after the disappearance of Mahaprabhu, Sri Krsnadasa Kaviraja Goswami composed this book. Many direct disciples of Sriman Mahaprabhu, such as Sri Rupa Goswami and Sri Raghunatha Dasa Goswami helped Sri Kaviraja Goswami in composing Sri Caitanya-caritamrta.

Prior to that, Sri Kavi-Karnapura helped Sri Kaviraja Goswami in many ways by writing Sri Caitanya-candrodaya-nataka and Sri Vrndavana dasa Thakura helped Sri Kaviraja Goswami in many ways by writing Sri Caitanya-Bhagavata.

By considering all aspects, we are compelled to accept Sri Caitanya-caritamrta. (From Caitanya-siksamrta)

Natural Brotherhood (Bhaktivinoda Thakura):

BhaktiVinoda Thakura

"Gradually, when the offensive portions of the established religions are destroyed, there will be no more differences in the bhajana performed by the various Sampradayas nor any quarrel between them.

Then as brothers, the people of all castes and countries will spontaneously chant the Holy Names of the Supreme Lord together.

At that time, no one will hate anyone or consider others dogeaters; nor will anyone be overwhelmed by the pride of high birth.

The living entities will not forget the principle of natural brotherhood."
